About Strawberry Cough Seeds

History & Genetics

Strawberry Cough Seeds.  The strain was rescued by breeder, grower and writer Kyle Kushman. He was consulting on someone’s garden and they gifted him a clone of something they were growing. When Kyle got home, his first thought was to throw it out. Then he smelled it. Strawberry! Voila!  Regardless of his first thought, he ran it   and thus began the journey of Strawberry Cough.

Appearance, Aroma & Flavor

The flowers may be small, but they’re dense and potent, fuzzy with red hairs, and wet with crystal trichomes. They’re almost like little strawberries. Whereas most hemp plants have a terpene distribution of different flavors each at a percentage of <0.5%, Strawberry Cough has one  particularly dominant mega-lady in its terpene mix: the seductive Alpha-Pinene.

Terpenes

Alpha-Pinene. This terpene is the spirit of the outdoors, imparting the scent that runs through coniferous plants like mountain pines. Expectedly, Strawberry Cough is drenched in this outdoorsy aroma, which is relieving and exciting.

Growing

Strawberry Cough is an easy plant to grow, so long as you keep it inside. Unlike hardier strains, Strawberry Cough is a homebody because of its need for a warm climate. Nighttime temps will rob your crop of the quality buds it deserves.

This strain grows in a bushy pattern that requires frequent pruning. If not, the higher branches will prevent light from hitting your lower branches. Significantly, The plant appreciates being pruned and taken care of.  It can be left to its own devices in a good ol’ fashioned soil-growing medium. As a result, no need for complicated hydroponics here – just dirt and organic nutrients.

What’s the difference between autoflower seeds and feminized and regular variants?

Significantly, there are three versions of cannabis seeds to choose from, each having different qualities and results. Below, we provide information on these variants to help you select the best option for your garden:

Auto Flower Seeds

These seeds have been modified with ruderalis genetics, allowing marijuana plants to flower regardless of the light. Since their use, experienced cultivators can grow multiple crops all year and generate yields in half the time.

Feminized Seeds

Altered genetics give these marijuana seeds the ability to germinate 99% female plants. They’re the best option for beginner cultivators or anyone wanting to produce generous harvests.

Regular Seeds

This version has a 50% chance of developing into germinating female or male crops. Nonetheless males are useful only to breeders, so remove them from your garden before ruining your harvest.
